In the surrounding area there are number of footpaths ideal for walks that boast superb views of the Puerto de La Ragua ski resort at any time of the year. A landscape made up of cliffs, stream waterfalls, contrasts of vegetation and foliage and typical Alpujarras mountain villages. 60 minutes form the beaches of Almeria as well as Motril and Almuñeca. Also in the surrounding is Guadix with its troglodyte areas and the Cenete castle in La Calahonda. Countless possibilities!
